Exclusive and unique guided ski experience in the mythical Madeleine Mines area. 4 days of skiing and 3 nights sleeping at the foot of the Madeleine Mines and the McGerrigles Plateau. This service is private, yes, yes! This means that the chalet is for the exclusive use of the Mountain Goats group, and that only Ski Chic-Chocs has the right to take groups on guided services to Mines Madeleine. A VIP experience !!!! Welcome to Quebec's "Canadian West". This unique experience in eastern North America allows you to spend 3 nights at the foot of the Madeleine Mines reservoir and 4 days of guided skiing in an isolated sector. This is one of the best off-piste skiing areas in Quebec. You get to know the alpine sector with all that it entails: analyzing lines and couloirs, and maybe changing your plan because conditions aren't as you thought they would be. It's all part of the adventure! This trip is for skiers and snowboarders who want to have a unique off-piste experience and take their riding to the next level. You'll need to be comfortable skiing irregular terrain (undergrowth, ungroomed) and advanced (black) resort runs. This all-inclusive package with collective transportation begins with a visit to La Terre des Bisons, an agritourist farm focusing on bison and elk since 1994. Visit the interpretation center including an exhibition room which tells the story of bisons then follow the outdoor interpretation trail where you can observe the herds in the pastures. Don’t forget to stop by the multimedia room where Grégoire Canapé, from Pessamit on the Côte-Nord, tells you around the fire the legend of the White Bison Woman of the Lakota nation. Finally, visit the store to discover the little treasures. You will stay in an eco-friendly cabin for two nights in the heart of nature. The adventure continues with a visit to La Terre des Bisons, a family farm focusing on bison and elk since 1994. Visit the farm, the interpretation center including the exhibition room which tells the history of bisons, the multimedia room which tells the legend of the bison woman, a legend of the first nations, then follow the trail exterior interpretation where you can observe the herds in the pastures. Next, head to Le Gollé Goulu where you’ll spend two nights in a ready-to-camp hut or in a yurt, admiring the sunset over the mountains and staying warm around the wood-burning stove! On day two, after breakfast, enjoy the hiking, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing trails (depending on the season) located on the site. Relax, breathe the fresh air and appreciate the calm in the all-white decor. Numerous trails on site and access to the Chute à Bull regional park will delight hikers whether on crampons or snowshoes depending on the snow conditions. In the evening, prepare your own comforting meal to enjoy by the fire. Leaving your lodge, put on your hiking boots and snowshoes and head to the Ouareau forest regional park to discover new trails and views of the mountains before returning home, your batteries fully recharged!
