Take the road to the Natur’Eau Spa in Mandeville. You will stay for two nights in a “POD” , ready-to-camp type, to experience the ultimate glamping. Fully equipped, the POD is nestled in the heart of the forest, close to the spa and hiking trails. On day 2, after your breakfast, take advantage of the exceptional site to explore the trails on snowshoes. Silence, wide open spaces and snow-covered trees will accompany you on this walk. Then enjoy full-day access to the spa and thermal experience directly on the enchanting site. Take route 131 North toward Sainte-Émélie-de-l’Énergie, making your way to Saint-Zénon. Plan a stop at Parc régional des Sept-Chutes to explore the beautiful surroundings on snowshoes! Amidst unspoiled nature, enjoy some 12 km of hiking trails atop Mont Brassard and Mont Barrière, at an altitude of nearly 700 metres (2,000 feet). Spectacular views await you at the various lookout points. After a wonderful day in the great outdoors, you’ll head to Auberge du Lac Taureau in Saint-Michel-des-Saints, where you’ll spend the next two nights. On the second day, after a tasty breakfast, make the most of the numerous activities available at the Auberge: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fat biking, hiking, skating, relaxing in the heated indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, saunas, billiards, table soccer, board games, or simply enjoy reading a book around the fireplace. This all-inclusive package with collective transportation begins with a visit to La Terre des Bisons. Visit the interpretation center including an exhibition room which tells the story of bisons then follow the outdoor interpretation trail where you can observe the herds in the pastures. The famous Auberge du Lac then welcomes you for a two-night stay in a warm and rustic atmosphere. A multitude of activities await you such as an ice rink on the pond, heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, spas, hiking trails with snowshoes, nature observation, tubing, animated activities and more. After the say au the auberge, your driver-guide will bring you in Nouvelle-Acadie, in Saint-Jacques de Montcalm, for a visit and tasting at the Distillerie du Grand Dérangement. This strange, crooked building houses the distillery and the distiller’s economuseum. You will learn the process of distilling gin, vodka and whiskey, the principles of grain to bottle and the circular economy used on site as well as the history of distillation in Quebec.
